Grief & Healing
“Grief never ends…but it changes.
It’s a passage, not a place to stay.
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith…
It is the price of love.”

The following articles are sent to our hospice families for thirteen months of their bereavement. These articles are available here for you to print and use or share with others who might be grieving. Contact us at the Hospice of the Golden Isles Bereavement Office for more helpful information. Resources for Children and Teens
Children and teens grieve too. And it is often a new experience in which the complicated feelings of grief can make them feel confused and unsafe. It is important for the adults around them to acknowledge their loss, give them opportunities to express their sadness, and participate with them in activities that will encourage their open communication about their feelings. The following pages may help start the conversation.
