The primary responsibility of the Sales/Marketing Professional is to develop, maintain, and grow referral sources and achieve the goals of the organization. Will make cold calls and scheduled visits throughout the coastal territory with efficiency and productivity. Duties include referral management, marketing plan development, and ongoing accountability reporting. The sales/marketing professional will cultivate and maintain positive relationships with physicians, nursing facilities, faith communities, veterans, and the community at large, and promote awareness, visibility, and education about our mission. Will participate in community events, maintain focus on objectives and goals, demonstrate strong ethics, empathy, and compassion.
The necessary qualifications and abilities include proven sales experience with a strong orientation toward achieving goals. Must be a motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet and exceed monthly admission targets. Exceptional customer service skills. Ability to market assertively and deal tactfully with all constituents. Ability to educate the community about Hospice benefits and services. Ability to speak in public in a variety of settings with professionalism, sensitivity and self-awareness. Hospice of the Golden Isles requires prior sales experience with a history of proven sales performance results, preferably in health care or, hospice specifically. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications and CRM systems. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
The education level required for this position is a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Marketing with 3-5 years of proven sales experience in health care and/or hospice, or equivalent credentials.
