From our nurses and physicians to our chaplains and social workers, we have an all-star team of caring professionals to support you at every step. Our hospice chaplains are non-denominational, but you are welcome to invite your pastor, priest, rabbi, or any other clergy to participate in your care.
Camden County Hospice Care Options
Our mission is to provide expert and compassionate hospice care, whether you live in your own home, an assisted living facility, a nursing home, a hospital, or at our Hospice House.
No matter where you call home, our interdisciplinary team (more than 100 strong) can offer everything you need, from individualized care plans, related prescriptions, medical supplies, and any necessary equipment.
Our team is on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and we have medical oversight by a full-time, Board Certified Hospice, and Palliative Care physician.
We work together with your physician to create a customized care plan. We’ll incorporate your individual needs along with your health and spiritual priorities.
There’s often a misconception about hospice care that we aim to correct. We don’t just take care of the physical needs of the patients. Without minimizing their critical importance, we also want to ensure that the emotional, spiritual, and social needs of both the patient and the family are met.

About Hospice House
Hospice of the Golden Isles is also the only local hospice provider to own and operate a free-standing facility to provide inpatient, respite, or residential care. Though most of our patients live at home, this facility caters to patients who are either unable to stay in their private residence or prefer not to.
The facility is beautiful, inside and out, with a full list of amenities, including private rooms and bathrooms and a private whirlpool spa. There are also plenty of opportunities to interact with others and enjoy time with family members thanks to a family dining room, multiple gathering places, garden walkways, and benches and featuring scenic views.
As part of our care, we recognize the importance of pets for companionship. That’s why we welcome your pet to visit you and provide a paw to hold or a sympathetic ear. If you’re an animal lover, we also have certified therapy pets that can visit upon request.
