Grief & Healing

“Grief never ends…but it changes.
It’s a passage, not a place to stay.
Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith…
It is the price of love.”

Resources for Children and Teens

Children and teens grieve too. And it is often a new experience in which the complicated feelings of grief can make them feel confused and unsafe. It is important for the adults around them to acknowledge their loss, give them opportunities to express their sadness, and participate with them in activities that will encourage their open communication about their feelings. The following pages may help start the conversation.

Grief Education & Training

If you would like to have a representative of Hospice of the Golden Isles to speak to your group or organization about topics related to coping with grief, please call 912.267.5462.
