Care at Our Hospice House
The Only Local Hospice House
We are the only local hospice provider to offer a freestanding Hospice House for inpatient, respite, and residential hospice care. In fact, Hospice of the Golden Isles was the first hospice in the Georgia to construct and operate a residential Hospice facility.
Our Hospice House is comprised of The Robinson Center and The Jolley House. The Robinson Center provides care for patients whose acute symptoms cannot be managed in the home environment and who need 24-hour, short-term skilled nursing care. The Jolley House provides residential care for patients who wish to receive routine hospice home care in this unique setting. Both facilities offer respite care (caregiver relief) for patient and families when needed.
Our highly trained Hospice House staff provides care to meet each patient’s unique needs. General inpatient care and respite care are benefits paid for by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance companies once deductibles and co-pays have been met. However, Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance companies do not pay for residential room and board costs at a Hospice House.
