As a nonprofit organization, Hospice of the Golden Isles is dedicated to providing dignity, comfort, and compassionate hospice care for patients and their loved ones as they face the end of life—regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

Each year, we absorb up to $750,000 in unfunded and underfunded care to ensure that every patient and family receives compassionate, expert support. Your generosity helps sustain our mission, allowing us to continue offering high-quality hospice care to those in need.

Through our Memory Brick Walk, you can honor a loved one with a personalized brick placed along the path to our Hospice House.

A gift of $125 secures your tribute in this lasting memorial. Bricks honoring Veterans may be placed beneath the American flag.

Tree of Rememberance

Gifted by the Auxiliary of Hospice of the Golden Isles

Located in the welcoming foyer of our Hospice House, the Tree of Remembrance is a meaningful tribute to the lives we have been honored to serve. Its deep roots reflect our 45 years of commitment to our South Georgia community, while its branches symbolize the reach of our care to patients and families in their time of need.

Each engraved leaf or dove is a heartfelt reminder of the patients whose journeys we have shared. Families, caregivers, and visitors are invited to pause and reflect on the love, comfort, and peace that have filled these rooms for decades.

The tree’s metal leaves can be engraved with names, verses, quotes, or personalized messages chosen by the donor—a lasting tribute to the life of a loved one and the compassionate care offered by our team.
