At Hospice of Golden Isles, we engage the family in care giving in the ways that they are most comfortable. We educate and guide the family to provide the best quality care for their loved ones by offering the family or caregiver not only our expertise, but practical education on pain and symptom control, living arrangements, identifying and meeting end of life wishes, financial considerations, and accessing community resources.
We recognize how difficult the caregiver role is, and guide you through this process. At Hospice of the Golden Isles, the patient, caregiver and family all receive our care, attention and support during this time.
If respite care is needed, Hospice of the Golden Isles can provide this care in our inpatient facility, The Robinson Center. If Grief Support is needed, counseling is available from the moment a patient is admitted into our care.
